Welcome to Ashland Air Rifle Range

Ashland, OR. is just 285 miles north from Sacramento, CA. or about the same south from Portland, Oregon, on I-5 at exit 11.
The facility has a full 50-shot, one shot per target, AAFTA approved rifle course and a separate 25 target 2 shot per target pistol course. We have a covered firing line for the rifle course, with nice benches to rest on while your partner is shooting. The six bench rest tables are solidly made from concrete for 25 meter or 50 yard competitions. They are covered with a large half dome, where fire pits warm you in the winter months. At Ashland, a shooter can shoot year round and enjoy a full range of venues.
This year, we are blessed to have been awarded the 2012 American National Field Target Championships. This event will be so large we plan to hold it 45 miles north at the Grants Pass range on the Archery courses. See the links below for directions and for wonderful accommodations to stay and eat. While in the area you and your family can enjoy river trips, hiking on the Pacific Crest trail, a day panning for gold, or shopping in the many locally owned shops. The venue offers onsite camping, with 20 full service RV hook ups and over 100 tent camping sites. Hot showers and flush toilets welcome the campers. Some of the best hunting, fishing or bird watching in the country is also available. Many fine motels and eateries are just minutes away.
Forty five minutes south, at the AARR range, we have local field target fun shoots the first and third Saturdays of the each month, and bench rest shoots the second and forth Sundays. All matches start at 10am unless otherwise noted. We have many fine air rifles and pistols for you to rent and try out.
The Ashland area is one of the worlds’ best places to see plays, especially the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, considered by some, to be the best in the world, with their indoor and outdoor theaters. But the Rouge Music Theatre, the Britt Music Festival, Southern Oregon University Theatre, Oregon Cabaret, Camelot Theatre and Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater all offer first class entertainment at very reasonable prices as well. Or, how about shopping and dining at the many fine locally owned shopsdowntown Ashland, then a lovely walk along Ashland creek in Lithia Park. Once you spend some time here, you will probably not want to leave… who knows, you might just say… hmmmm, I should live here, like I did 35 years ago!
We also are a dealer for air guns and supplies, so we can help you try out what you might want to use to compete, and then get you a great deal, if you want to own the outfit. If you have not tried the air gun bench rest or field target games, you should! You will find some of the best folks to spend time with, and get a challenge that makes you want to do better next time. There is always room for improvement in this game…and another tougher challenge if you’re ready for it!
You’all come now!
